WNBA Power Rankings

Our WNBA power ratings have been historically excellent because they are built to stay ahead of the market, not chase it. That is the entire point. Sports betting markets are constantly adjusting, but they often adjust too aggressively to small samples, short-term shooting variance, injury noise, and public narratives.

We adjust too, of course. The difference is that our moves tend to be measured. We are not interested in reacting emotionally to one bad quarter, one hot shooting night, or one ugly box score. In fact, that is exactly the energy we prefer to fade.

The key is to have teams graded correctly before the market gets there. Once the public sees it, the number is usually gone. That is why power ratings matter. They give us a stable foundation, especially early in the season when the market is still trying to sort out what is real and what is noise.

The Las Vegas Aces remain No. 1 in our WNBA ratings at 109.2, with the New York Liberty right behind them at 107.5. That remains the top tier.

The Dallas Wings continue to validate our preseason optimism, moving up to 105.0 and sitting third. The Atlanta Dreamare right there at 104.4, while the Minnesota Lynx check in at 105.1, with that number still tied to Napheesa Collierbeing available.

Indiana remains steady at 102.6, while Phoenix has nudged upward to 102.2. Golden State has made one of the more meaningful early moves, jumping to 100.9, ahead of the Los Angeles Sparks at 100.5.

At the bottom, very little has changed. Portland remains a massive outlier at 84.5, and we still view the Fire as one of the weakest teams the league has seen.
